Angie began her career in commercial radio eventually becoming a major market drive time producer and content creator. After attending USC Annenberg, she pivoted to public media. Since joining the Press Play team she’s become an expert at finding real people to share their struggles, infusing diverse stories, and just having fun. She spent her childhood walking around with a portable recorder taping herself and later taping her friends’ conversations, which probably explains why this is her favorite part of the job. Her second favorite part is connecting with the next generation of broadcasters and sharing the wealth of experience she’s gained during her accomplished career. Spearheading KCRW’s Podcast Bootcamp, she’s helping to inspire and educate podcasters representing underserved communities
