Prior to that, she spent three years covering Atlanta for NPR member station WABE, first as a general assignment reporter, then as a health care policy reporter. Michell's work has appeared on NPR, Kaiser Health News, Marketplace, KQED's 'The California Report,' WHYY's 'The Pulse,' Chicago Tribune and WBEZ. Michell is a very proud Illinois native and a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
